Skyline Teen Board

Purpose

The Skyline Teen Board exists to:

  • Introduce high school students to Skyline’s mission and programs

  • Provide hands-on volunteer experience

  • Develop leadership and service skills

  • Create youth-led outreach efforts that benefit Skyline

Build future advocates and ambassadors for Skyline

Teen Board Goals

  • Increase awareness of Skyline’s programs among youth in the OKC metro.

  • Support Skyline through volunteer service hours.

  • Plan and execute:

    • One Fall Outreach Activity (in-kind drive or fundraising effort)

    • One Spring Outreach Activity (in-kind drive or fundraising effort)

  • Develop leadership skills and nonprofit knowledge.

Attendance

  • Attend the August 15, 2026 Kickoff Retreat

  • Attend at least 4 of 6 meetings. (Meeting schedule will be set with participant input).

  • Participate in at least one Skyline volunteer shift during the year.

  • Participate in planning and execution of both outreach projects.

Participation

  • Come prepared and engaged.

  • Serve as an ambassador for Skyline in your school and church.

  • Actively contribute ideas and effort toward outreach projects.

Conduct

Teen Board members represent Skyline in the community and are expected to:

  • Treat others with kindness and respect.

  • Demonstrate professionalism.

Follow Skyline policies during volunteer activities.
