Skyline Teen Board
Purpose
The Skyline Teen Board exists to:
Introduce high school students to Skyline’s mission and programs
Provide hands-on volunteer experience
Develop leadership and service skills
Create youth-led outreach efforts that benefit Skyline
Build future advocates and ambassadors for Skyline
Teen Board Goals
Increase awareness of Skyline’s programs among youth in the OKC metro.
Support Skyline through volunteer service hours.
Plan and execute:
One Fall Outreach Activity (in-kind drive or fundraising effort)
One Spring Outreach Activity (in-kind drive or fundraising effort)
Develop leadership skills and nonprofit knowledge.
Attendance
Attend the August 15, 2026 Kickoff Retreat
Attend at least 4 of 6 meetings. (Meeting schedule will be set with participant input).
Participate in at least one Skyline volunteer shift during the year.
Participate in planning and execution of both outreach projects.
Participation
Come prepared and engaged.
Serve as an ambassador for Skyline in your school and church.
Actively contribute ideas and effort toward outreach projects.
Conduct
Teen Board members represent Skyline in the community and are expected to:
Treat others with kindness and respect.
Demonstrate professionalism.
Follow Skyline policies during volunteer activities.
